Seven

Seven whole months... Mom says that's basically as long as she knew she was pregnant and these months with me are definitely going much faster than last year!

Seven month stats: (taken at home, so subject to error)
Height: 28 inches
Weight: 17 pounds

You can't make me lay on my back forever Mom!  I want to rolllll....

Whoa, there is a sticker on my shirt??!?  End of photo shoot, I found a new toy!!!

This month I worked on perfecting my new skills of sitting up and rolling over.  I can get across the room in no time flat by rolling every which way.  I did figure out I can change directions and move around by kind of planting my hands down and dragging my lower body around - but only if I escaped from my blanket and am on the hard wood floors.  Which of course takes me about 5 seconds.  One time Mom was busy cleaning the bathroom while I had my alone play time.  I started fussing after a few minutes which Mom figured meant I was lonely, but she was being mean and intensely focusing on cleaning so she didn't come in for several minutes and saw that the reason I was fussing was because I had rolled myself almost completely under my crib!  She could only see the top of my head!!  After that day Mom doesn't let me play by myself on the blanket anymore.

Thanks a lot Mom for capturing this.

Since Mom and Dad clearly aren't understanding what I'm saying to them, I've decided its finally time to conform to their silly sounds.  I can say ba-ba, va-va and da-da very clearly.  I also mix in a few pfffft sounding noises and LOVE to talk.  Even when I lay down for bed I talk to my baby doll and loveie until I'm fast asleep.

Speaking of sleeping, I get SO excited when I'm laid down in my crib!  I take three naps sometimes four a day, and sleep about 11 1/2 hours a night.  I get my pacifier and loveie when I lay down, and as soon as I have loveie in my hands, I immeditely rub my eyes while holding on to her.  I like to play peek a boo by myself for awhile to see if my parents are still standing there.  I sleep usually on my side or tummy, rarely on my back anymore.  About 90% of the time I'll grab my pacifier and run it across the slats for awhile then drop it on the floor.  I immediately let Mom know, and she's such a sucker because I always get it back :)

I've been a little more fussy this past month, but no teeth yet - I'm just working on my vocal chords for now.  Mom singing to me calms me down almost every time, she's no Adele but she tries hard so I have to smile and laugh for her.

I have started remembering when something gets taken away from me, and every now and then I'll amuse my parents by being interested in the replacement object - but sometimes it makes me VERY mad when I can't have something (like Mom's phone or glasses) anymore.

Books are my favorite.  If there is one out on my blanket, its the first thing I grab.  I know how to turn the pages and love my texture books where I can touch things like  "Tails", but my very favorite is "B is for Bear".  I could read that over and over!  I smile when Mom gets it out because I know which one it is!!

 Reading to Paddington.

Shea-Shea!

I'm still able to wear a lot of my 3-6 month clothes and have graduated into some 6-12, mostly because winter is almost over and I want to wear some of these cute winter outfits more before it gets hotter outside.

The only food I have not liked at first was avocado, but once Mom mixed it with banana it tasted just fine!  I've had lots of yummy foods like squash, pears, peaches, spinach, blueberry, black beans, green beans, broccoli, prunes, apples, carrots, peas and cauliflower!  Delish!!

 YUM!!!
I'm getting a little more messy now because I want to feed myself and like to grab for the spoon and "help" Mom.  So after eating sometimes it is....

BATH TIME!

I have lots of fun bath toys and can now hold a different toy in each hand!  I love splashing around and playing, I start smiling whenever the water is turned on because I'm so excited!

I've had lots of fun just playing around this month...

I LOVE swinging in the park and laugh the whole time, too fun!!

We have so much fun having visitors or going out to meet up with people for lunch or play dates...

Mom's friend Sarah from college came to town to visit us!!

My cousin Denise and I got to hang out at Doc's office one day!

Ross and Becky met us out for dinner
My friend Claire - she's my size so its way fun to play with her!  Mommy and Miss Sara usually talk too much and forget to take pictures of us...

Already hanging out with the older girls, Ella and Caroline
