Can you believe it?!? I turned TWO on my Happy Birthday in July!! On my birthday my Daddy took off work just for me!!! We went to breakfast for my favorite "can-cakes", then went to play at the Perot Museum, I got to have a BIG cupcake after my nap, play at the park and play with my new play house in the back yard! Best Day EVER!!! I also got to watch baby sister roll over for the very first time on my birthday, it was her present just for me!
The next day I woke up and had the BEST birthday party ever, so many friends and family came to celebrate with me I didn't even know what to do with myself! It was a bubble party, so I got to play with a bubble machine, bubble lawn mower, bubble guns, big bubble wands and regular bubbles too! We also had a bounce house and swimming pool set up for even more fun! I kept running from activity to activity and loved every second of it! I was so grateful for everyone who came to see me, and I'm a very lucky girl who always got some amazing presents!
My Mommy decorated the house just for the party, and then we kept the decorations up for awhile so it was like my birthday week! I kept singing "Happy birthday to Emma!" for days!
I've learned and changed so much over the past year, my parents can hardly believe I turned 2. I'm such a kind-hearted and sweet girl, who really does dance like no one is watching :) They love me so much and know they are so, so blessed to be my parents.
Mommy and Daddy took about 800 pictures in two days, but I picked some of my most favorites to share with y'all!
I'm TWO! okay still working on that one....

Madeline's Baptism
Madeline got baptized at University Park United Methodist which is the same church where I was baptized too! She was so good during her whole baptism and church service, she didn't make one peep! I got to go up on stage with my family during the ceremony and got to go play in Sunday School during the service. Mommy was not going to let me watch Little Einsteins or talk to Elmo on the phone, so I thought it would be better to get outta there!
Not everyone that we wanted to attend was able to, but we still were so blessed with the family who drove up to watch the ceremony and come over to have a lunch afterwards. I always love when there's lots of people around so it was a perfect day!!
I have a new sister!!!
Old news by now, but I've been having such a fun time playing with my new baby sister Madeline it took me 6 whole months to post about her! She is the best! I love helping my Mommy and Daddy bring paci's and blankets and burp cloths. I even give baby sister some toys and talk to her in the sweetest voice when she's crying. I say "Its okay baby. No cry. Poor baby, its ok", something along those lines most times. I also tell Mommy what is wrong with baby so she knows. "Baby has stinky diaper", "Baby needs hungry", I usually call Madeline baby or sister since her name is such a mouthful. When I do say Madeline it sounds something like Mah-men. Close enough!
So far I'm okay with her because she hasn't changed my life too much, but I don't think Mommy and Daddy would say the same thing... Now I have one more person to dance and sing to, and I'm starting to try and teach her sign language, animals and colors!
Madeline has started rolling all over the place and smiles SO BIG when she sees me, it makes me feel so special! "Baby smiled at you!" ( I mean "me" when I say you, but I still get mixed up sometimes like I say "Hold you" and "Carry you" when I want to be picked up...) Anyway, Madeline started eating food at 5 months old and so far has tried sweet potatoes, avocado, peas, squash, pears, apples, bananas, prunes and pumpkin. She likes everything! She's taking 3 naps a day and eats 4 or 5 times depending on when she wakes up. Madeline is such a good sleeper, just like I was and has been sleeping through the night for 3-4 months now! Hooray!!!
Sister is pretty easy going except in the car - she does NOT like her car seat. I try my best to tell her its okay, but I think she just likes being held and always wants to keep an eye on Mommy or Daddy.
More about me later and what I've been up to, but here are some pictures from when Madeline was a newborn baby. I love her so much!!!
My only semi smile of the day - in a solo shot.... imagine that :)
